At Steinhauer Lighting, we continue to innovate – not only with our lighting collections but also in the way we conduct business. That is why we are proud of our new, sustainable building, designed with the future in mind. With advanced insulation, energy-efficient solutions, and smart environmental measures, we actively contribute to a greener world.
Energy Efficiency: Less Consumption, Maximum Comfort
One of the greatest advantages of our new building is its outstanding insulation. This ensures that heat stays inside during winter and keeps the space cool in summer, without unnecessary energy loss. This results in lower energy consumption and a comfortable working environment for our team.
For heating and cooling, we use heat pumps. This innovative technology extracts heat from the air or ground, providing a sustainable climate control solution.
Solar Energy: 68 Solar Panels on the Roof
To further reduce our energy needs, we have installed 68 solar panels on the roof. These allow us to generate a significant portion of our electricity, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Our lighting, equipment, and electric charging stations are largely powered by clean solar energy.
Smart Water Management: Rainwater Collection
Water is a precious resource, and we handle it with care. We have installed large infiltration crates to capture rainwater. This smart system not only helps conserve water but also prevents sewer overload during heavy rainfall.
Sustainable Transport: Electric Charging Stations for Employees and Visitors
Steinhauer Lighting promotes sustainable transport. That is why we have installed two charging stations for electric vehicles, allowing employees and visitors to charge their cars in an environmentally friendly manner.
Waste Separation: Precise and Conscious
Sustainable business also means conscious waste management. In our new building, we carefully separate all our waste to promote recycling and minimize waste production. Cardboard, plastic, paper, and other residual waste are given a second life whenever possible.
